Well it has been way to long since I have written but here I am at last!
This summer has been a busy one.
~July~
July was full of days at the park, picnics friends and family!
We had my parents here over the long weekend and then Ricky's mom hear a week after that for about a week. When she left she took Anna down to my parents house where she stayed and played for about a week. She had some great grandma/grandpa time and Bethy had some great mommy time!
~August~
-August brought the girls and I to southern alberta for the first two weeks. During that time, we went to Lethbridge, the Calgary zoo, Waterton and Milk River. We visited with friends and family. We had a reunion picnic in Lethbridge with many Nalders that was a blast!
By the time we got home the girls were soo ready to to see their Dad. (and so was I)
The next two weeks were spent cleaning the house, getting Anna ready for kindergarten, planning Bethy's birthday and getting ready for Ricky's mom to come live till her place up here in Edmonton is ready. Also in the middle of all of that, the cucs in the garden were ready for pickling so canning season begun!
Now that September is here life stays busy but in a different way. There will be routine to it!
Anna will be in school 5 mornings a week, I will be canning almost everything under the sun, and loving every minute of it! I hope that the summer was good for everyone else!

Mommy morning
Well my girls and I have been having issues getting along lately. (Meaning I have no patience due to lack of sleep) because of this, more often than not I am raising my voice and getting angry with them earlier and earlier in the morning and then they are on edge and acting up more because mommy is upset. It is nasty cycle!! So this morning when we got up and they wanted to ay with playdough (one of my least favorite things) I decided to try and make today different and I said YES! They we so excited! I thought, well I will let them play and I will sit on the couch and read a book. Wrong. They begged me to play with them so, without showing the cringing I got in there with them. We played for over an hour! My hands were so dry and smelly when we were done but my princesses were happy. After we cleaned up, they picked a movie, we got into my bed and ate licorice.
We had one of the best mornings we have had in quite awhile and even though I could have done without the playdough I don't think it would have been such a special morning without it!

Hair today, gone tomorrow
Well what a day it was!
This morning while we were at a friends house Anna decided to play hair dresser. She cut two of her friends hair, Bethy's hair and one little chunk of her own. It was devistating! After alot of tears I took Bethy to a real hair dresser who cut 6 more hairs and just told me to let it grow out.
The positive thing about today was that I got a chance to truly teach Anna about forgiveness. We went out and picked up a hat and headband for her friends and sister with her money. Then we went and gave them. She was such a grown up girl as she told each of her friends and sister she was sorry for cutting their hair and gave them a hug.
It was a bad day made better as my little girl became a big girl and made amends for the damage she had caused without complaint.
Now hopefully tomorrow we can truly see the humor in all of it!

It's done!!!
Well the tree is finally down and all the decorations are put away in the closet. My livingroom finally feels like my own again. I think it will help all of us in the house to be a bit more relaxed.
Anna started Preschool again today and she was so excited to go. She talked about her friends all afternoon. It is so exciting for me to see her grow and change. Both her and Bethy are showing me how they see things through their eyes and I love it! It amazes me daily.
I am so grateful that Heavenly Father has blessed me with an amzing husband and two amazing daughters.

Here it goes!
I have decided to give blogging a try so here I am!
Hopefully I will get the hang of this so that I can be better at keeping a record of our life so that our kids will know what they were like when they were younger.
This morning the cutest thing happened as Bethy and I were laying in bed. She learned how to count to five! It was so adorable. We practiced together a few times and then she did it herself. I couldn't have been more proud. She is growing up faster that I can keep track.
I am amazed daily by my girls. I love them dearly.
